SSOLE Granted 501(c)3
After months of hard work, and a seemingly endless wait, we were granted our 501(c)3 status late this spring.

This designation marks our birthday as an official tax exempt charitable organization. This is important for many reasons, but for you, the charitable consumer, it allows all future donations to be considered tax deductible contributions.
We are thrilled at receiving this designation, and have begun the process of grant writing to secure funds for both our upcoming and existing projects. Including the expansion of our Educational Foundation to include musical grants for children in grades kindergarten through 12 starting this fall, and the expansion of our free clinic and new after school snack program. A special thank you to everyone who helped and supported us during these first few years. We couldn't have done it with out you.

We hope that you are as excited as we are about our new opportunities and programs, and we invite you to volunteer and participate whenever you can. Our original vision has not changed, simply grown.

Education Foundation Fundraiser at CoCA a Huge Success
Our first annual artists event and fundraiser for the Educational Foundation drew to a close August 3rd.

This event, held at Center on Contemporary Art in Seattle ran from July 23rd through August 3rd, with an opening night party on the 24th.

Thank you to everyone who came out and helped make this event a success. Our opening night drew a great crowd, allowing us to sell sixteen pieces of art and jewelry,
ensuring a fundraising success.
We have begun planning next years event, and welcome your comments and suggestions.

We would like to incorporate more live music, unknown artists and teaching programs next year to help make this event even bigger.

The goal of these events, is to help young or unknown artists establish their careers, while supporting our Education Foundation.
We were able to raise enough funds from this event to grant an additional four more scholarships for the 2003 school year, and put in place the foundation for our musical grant program.

T-shirts are still available to commemorate this event, the cost is $18.00 but quantities are limited, so please email or call to reserve yours today!

  Services at the Retreat Center
The SSOLE Retreat Center offers many great services and products. This issue, we will focus on two of these lesser known services. Medical Intuitive Sessions with Christine Cannon and the upcoming Kundalini Tantra for the New Millennium Workshop.

Medical Intuitive sessions are offered by appointment only. Clairvoyant from birth, Christine has the ability to see disease and disorder in the auric field. With over 25 years experience in Bio-Spiritual nutritional counseling,
psychotherapy and mind body work, she is well versed in numerous other fields of traditional healing therapies.

The Kundalini Tantra for the New Millennium workshop will also be taught by Christine. This 18 week course is designed to provide students with the foundation needed to support greater self awareness and the awakening of Kundalini.

The intricate processes of this workshop support the discernment and release of imprints and thought
forms long held in the body. Techniques include; meditation, mandalas, Kriya and Kundalini yoga, artistic transformation, as well as Tantra and alternative psychotherapeutic practices.

This course ultimately assists one in the challenging process of becoming a fully conscious and awakened individual

Please call us at (425) 456 0334 to request a brochure, schedule an appointment or to register for this class.
